Meoded Velvet Base is a specialty undercoat that is the required base for Pearlas Velvet Decorative Metallic Finish. Velvet Base is infused with minerals which makes the surface more absorbent than ordinary flat paint or primer and is necessary to create a layered effect similar to a Venetian Plaster finish.
